Here in my cot -- where my cot loves m
I'll stay here a while -- in the cotton wool cocoo
'Til the chrysalis is ripe -- 'til the time is righ
With this feeling of insecurit
I have to shrink back inside -- run and hid
Back in the cocoon -- hugging my knee
Watching my insides -- the skinned glow-worm writhing
Lying in blankets -- I've been here a whil
Tapping out rhythms -- against the mattress and wal
The heat melts the sheets -- another layer is peele

Just my cot, the wallpaper and m
I've been here awhile -- tapping out rhythm
Still finding charms in the memory of those constrictor arm
Glowing in the dark in my luminous gree
A pearl beaded lizard -- bathed in a gossamer scen
With my heat detector lip-pit -- pulling at the newly formed tissu
Lying in blankets -- I've been here awhil
Tapping out rhythms... against the mattress and wal
Waiting... to loose the bandage
Waiting for new appendage
