Here we are under these particular starsHere we stand VictorianWhere the white folk can grow to no soVery little about the black folkThe same folk who rightfully ownThis piece of beauty that we call our homeWell negativity is often heard from societyWith conviction they preachNot even knowing of whom they speakI guess it's each to there ownThose that want to will knowI guess it's each to there ownBecause from the top the views are old and greyWell I feel so ashamedOf this system and these waysThe tiny hearts that lead our nationAnd tiny minds that let them inAnd I see your confusionI see your painI see your pain and your confusionAnd there's still some with my skinWho still try and hide the reason
